Julius Adams, Esq.
Julius Adams is a Litigation Attorney, and founder of Atoms Law & Consulting, PLLC. The mission of the firm, concerns helping people in need, through vigorous representation for legal and business matters. Prior to founding the law firm, Julius began his legal career working in traditional law firms, tending to a variety of cases. During this time however, he noticed there was a disparity in how legal and consulting services were being offered, between affluent and non-affluent people. Atoms Law, is a law firm that seeks to balance this disparity for betterment of the community.
Julius’s legal experience includes litigating cases which involve Real estate law, Family law, General legal disputes, and Appeals. Prior to his general practice, Julius worked as a staff attorney with the Guardian Ad Litem’s Office in Florida’s Tenth Judicial Circuit. Cases with this office involved protecting children who were experiencing abuse, neglect, or abandonment from their caregivers.
As an example of Julius’s experience with Business Consulting, Julius has acted as General Counsel for a health tech startup called SynsorMed Inc and has been in this role for the past 5 years. And since SynsorMed’s beginning, the company has grown in value and profitability under his representation and guidance. As General Counsel, Julius reviews all the company’s contracts, ensures the company’s compliance with federal and state regulations, and provides counsel directly to the CEO of Synsormed concerning business strategy. SynsorMed was recently selected to join the investment portfolio of “the Alabama Futures Fund” (AFF); a venture capital firm focused on technology-based companies having a potential for phenomenal growth.
In addition, as a 2016 Fellow of the New Leaders Council (Tampa Bay), Julius looks to serve his community by giving back. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Julius also served as a law enforcement officer for the first chapter in his career. Based on this experience, Julius conducts free information sessions on behalf of the ACLU and other civic organizations on topics concerning criminal justice reform and police misconduct. On other occasions, Julius provides interactive lectures in the Bay Area regarding “Knowing your rights when you encounter the police” and “The Basics of the 4th, 5th and 6th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution”.
Julius is a graduate of Florida State University (FSU), where he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree. Afterwards, he remained at FSU and earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Julius obtained his Law Degree from Florida A&M University, College of Law.
